My Favorite Engagement Locations in Arizona

Hey, hey! So you’ve booked me or one of my awesome associates. Thank you! I can honestly say I’m super-duper excited to have you become one of my gorgeous couples.

One of the most popular questions I get from couples after they book with us is: Where do we do our engagement session?

Super good question! There are so many options. Growing up in Denver, I thought Phoenix was going to be ugly, and brown… so brown. But when I moved here, I was pleasantly surprised at all the stunning spots Arizona has to offer!

Now, if you two already have a spot you have in mind, no worries. There are so many more spots than the ones I’ve mentioned below. They’re just my favorite engagement locations in Arizona!

So, here we go!!

Papago Park-

Only about 10 minutes from downtown Phoenix and is located right next door to the Phoenix Zoo. The rock formations really make the setting stand out in the desert landscape. Worried about the “hike?” No worries! They’re super easy trails so no makeup melting today, love!

Coons Bluff-

With Coons Bluff, you get tall grasses, trees and the stunning river. Don’t mind the wild horses that might visit from time to time, too! Depending on the time of year, we may also be able to visit the pebbled river bank and play in the water!

Sunset Point-

With a little drive north of Phoenix, Sunset Point is a recently discovered site that is STUNNING for sunset photography. I suppose it is called Sunset Point for a reason! With tall grasses and a crazy beautiful mountain backdrop, it’s sure to be an amazing setting for your engagement photos!

Desert Botanical Garden-

Have you ever visited the Desert Botanical Gardens? If not, you’re missing out! Although we would need to pay a small Admission Fee to enter, photography is totally welcome in any areas we choose to roam! Not 100% keen on the idea of cactus? Not to worry! The garden has all types of amazing plant life to choose from as well as a model glass wall and beautiful water features.

Scorpion Gulch-

For those couples who love a more rustic feel, Scorpion Gulch is a winner! With a crumbling stone building, unique wishing well, and mountains in all directions, it’s truly a perfect spot! We can even walk about five minutes to get lost in some rolling hills with the site of Phoenix in the distance.

Pima Canyon Trail-

The Pima Canyon Trail is newly renovated hiking trail in South Phoenix near the Arizona Grand Golf Course. With plenty of trails to choose from and desert beauty in every direction, it’s a beautiful choice for those wanting to embrace the natural landscape.

Arizona Grand Golf Course-

Ok, a little back story to this… I used to live on this gorgeous golf course, so my husband used to walk it during sunset nearly everyday of the year (unless it was just too hot). We discovered all the neat spots that are to die for when it comes to couple’s photos.
